A.B. Bourne worked closely with Danny Lewin at Akamai Technologies on strategic deals with IBM and Oracle, and managed Akamai's IPO, raising $234 million in 1999. The author graduated from Yale College and the University of Michigan Law School and practiced law in Boston. She lives in Massachusetts with her family, consulting for start-up technology companies and writing The Second Secret of Edwin Hoff.
